The Foundation wishes to thank all those who know of its existence, respect it and support it; also those who, day after day, are devoted to its functioning and convey to visitors the spirit of its founder. It expresses its gratitude to the thousands of benefactors who, over the centuries, through their donations and bequests, have contributed to enriching its heritage of real estate and artistic and cultural works.

Proud of its prestigious past and confident of the future, the Calvet Foundation pays homage to the belief which inspired its founder’s spirit: a great builder of ideas, Calvet understood very early on that the development of the human spirit required institutions, havens and marks in order to be able to collect and convey the riches of all cultures and to be elevated to a state of beauty.
